CalSouthern’s PsyD: General (PsyD-G) online degree program is designed for individuals who wish to expand their knowledge of clinical topics and methodologies within the field, while working to develop the practical application of this knowledge to the professional practice of psychology.. The program focuses on learners that are interested in developing their knowledge and skills for growth in other professional career paths, but who are not interested in pursuing licensure.. Dean Profile
DR. MELISSA NOYA, PSYD
Dr. Noya is the Dean of Behavioral Sciences. She oversees the undergraduate and graduate programs in psychology. She is an accomplished educator and leader in higher education. She earned her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University with a specialization in child psychology. She has been in higher education for over 13 years as a faculty member and has served as a psychologist conducting psychological evaluations and therapy with children and adults. Prior to joining California Southern University, she was the Director of Clinical Training for Albizu University Miami and served as Associate Dean and Program Director at Keiser University Miami Campus..
Dr. Noya’s leadership experience includes the APAGS Advocacy Coordinating Team Chair. She also served as the Chair for the FPAGS. Dr. Noya has received numerous awards, including the APAGS 20th Anniversary Future Pioneers of Psychology Award, and the APASociety for Clinical Psychology Distinguished Student Service Award. Her research interests center around evidence-based approaches to assessment. Dr. Noya has been supported by funding from the National Institutes of Mental Health.

Can I transfer my credits?
We accept most course credits awarded by other appropriately accredited institutions. Professional evaluators will review your credits and determine what may qualify for transfer1.
When can I start?
Immediately. At CalSouthern, new courses start every month instead of every quarter or semester. Register by this month’s deadline to start courses next month on the 1st.

While you may study on your own, you will never be alone. You will have access to Learner Support Services with a team of diverse staff, faculty mentors, and school-specific academic teams who are available to assist you throughout your academic journey at CalSouthern.

5. We use information in a variety of ways

This includes our network of institutions and the Career Education Foundation Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) fund dedicated to providing both need-based and merit-based scholarships to qualified students attending our institution(s). E-mail. If you would like to opt-out of marketing e-mails, you may click "UNSUBSCRIBE" on any marketing e-mail.

Telephone Calls. If you would like to be added to our Do Not Call list, please call us and request to be added to our Do Not Call list. 8. Submitting a request
To exercise your access, disclosure, deletion rights, or other applicable rights, you must submit a verifiable consumer request to us. We have outlined the procedure below. a. You may submit your request via email to privacymatters@aiuniv.edu or contact us via our toll-free number (844)-783-8627. b. You will be asked to provide certain personal information that we will review against our records to validate your identity. We require this personal information to prevent identity theft or fraud. In some cases, we may need to contact you for additional information or clarification to comply with your request. We cannot provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. We will only use personal information provided to verify your identity or the requestor’s authority to make the request. c. We will respond to a verifiable consumer request within the period of time required by applicable law.We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will explain why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
- You will be asked to provide certain personal information that we will review against our records to validate your identity. We require this personal information to prevent identity theft or fraud. In some cases, we may need to contact you for additional information or clarification to comply with your request. We cannot provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.
